Southwest Sports Wellness Foundation (SWSWF)
was established in 2010 to fulfill a need in the underserved areas of the San Diego community by performing high school sports screening assessments, offering free high school injury clinics, educating physicians, physical therapists and certified athletic trainers, and by providing scholarships for students
with an interest in sports medicine and healthcare.
The foundation’s medical programs are overseen by
Dr. Charles Camarata and a board of directors, who have been working with student athletes in San Diego County for more than 45 years.
SWSWF is non-profit 501(c)(3) foundation.

SWSWF is asking for your support so we can continue to provide important services to student athletes. The successful launch of SWSWF’s High School Sports Medicine Seminars combined with the planned opening of a comprehensive Sports Medicine Injury Clinic & Wellness Center in the Sweetwater Union High School District solidifies SWSWF's commitment and dedication to improving access to health services for student athletes in 2018 and for many years to follow.

expansion of our programs allow SWSWF to continue offering vital
medical resources to the youth in our communities.
