The Rosa Parks Story   

Special MLK Day Event

 

 We will watch the Rosa Parks Story (2002),  starring Angela Basset, and discuss the legal issues  surrounding the Montgomery Bus Boycott.

 Class Leader: Professor Clifford Scott-Rudnick

Judge Diane Shelley will speak on Browder v. Gayle, the landmark US Supreme Court decision which found that Alabama's  segregated buses violated the 14th Amendment to the Constitution.

Materials will be emailed the day prior to the class.  We recommend bringing your laptop or tablet with  you, or printing out the materials ahead of time. Hardcopies will not be distributed at the class.

2 Hours Professional Responsibility MCLE credits.

This class is free of charge.  Brown bag it for lunch.
