Helping churches attract, engage and mobilize young adults!
A one-day seminar to be held at the Georgia-Cumberland Conference office.
We often hear parents of young adults or pastors lamenting that their young adults have “left the faith” or “walked away from God,” but current research would suggest that neither are totally true. In fact, current research shows that young adults today are keenly interested in spirituality. And while they may be attending church less, their reasons are rarely theological and doesn’t necessarily mean they have “lost their faith.”
Mobilize 24 will continue to broaden and build on the structure that we have laid the last 2 years utilizing Young Adult L.I.F.E. to create practical ways for Young Adults to develop their:
Leadership Impact
Intergenerational Relationships
Faith Development
Everyday Compassion
Mobilize 24 will focus on the Faith Development part of the acronym as we seek to reframe the faith journey of today’s young adults, while simultaneously looking at some of the church’s assumptions and attitudes that might be creating barriers. If you are interested in serving the young adults in and around your church, plan on joining us January 20 as we explore the Faithing Journey of today’s young adults.
Faithing Now, is our theme for this year’s Mobilize Conference, and is open to any who want to understand, as well as help attract, engage and mobilize young adults for the sake of the kingdom.
