Join the UBC Volunteer Connection
The UBC Volunteer Connection is a church-wide initiative to promote and foster the participation of our disciples (and visitors) in service activities beyond the church walls. Volunteering is a great way to make a difference in people's lives, show God's love and demonstrate we care about the community of which we are a part.
Rev. Hammond has challenged each disciple to volunteer in community service activities in 2015. our goal for the 2015 year is to complete 12,500 service hours. The services can be through various agencies (i.e. nonprofits, nursing homes, shelters, etc.) in Durham and surrounding areas. Details on how to report your service hours will be forthcoming as well as ways to identify volunteer opportunities.
In order for us to track the service hours, we need you to register with the UBC Volunteer Connection. Please click the REGISTER NOW button below to sign up now. You may also want to forward this page to others who want to serve and aren't aware of this initiative. Hard copies of the registration form are available at the church. They can be completed and placed in the designated boxes in the church entrances or The Information Center.

We thank you for helping us continually do ministry beyond the walls of the church.
"Truly, I tell you, whatever you did for one of these sisters and brothers of mime, you did for me.
