The LHA Trust Funds are offering its members an advanced seminar related to Patient Safety and Risk Control. The program has been designed to elevate risk manager education and focus on use of knowledge of internal and external information to drive change in patient and visitor safety. By using historical information from claims, national data and case law, the risk manager will be able to build a stronger risk management program and facilitate creation of a safer environment for care.

This training program is being offered at no cost to members of the Malpractice and General Liability Trust and The Physicians Trust. Registration is required for attendance.

This program has been approved for a total of 6 contact hours of Continuing Education Credit toward fulfillment of the requirements of ASHRM designations of FASHRM (Fellow) and DFASHRM (Distinguished Fellow) and towards CPHRM renewal.

 This program has been approved for a total of 6.25 nursing contact hours by the Louisiana Hospital Association for complete attendance of the program.  The Louisiana Hospital Association is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing – CE Provider #39. 

This program has been approved for a total of 6 contact hours of Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) by the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers for complete attendance of the program.
