9th Annual Walk for

Autism Awareness

The Autism Society of Greater New Orleans' 9th ANNUAL WALK FOR AUTISM AWARENESS is this Saturday, April 20, 2013, at First Baptist New Orleans (5290 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA). This is a wonderful new venue that will accommodate our Walk even if it rains!. Our Walk will feature the following.

• Food and Drinks
• Music and more!!!

Last year, despite heavy rains, we had over 600 people attend our Walk. This year we hope to have an even greater turnout so more people become aware of the contributions individuals with Autism make to our community. And participation by people like you will help us better serve our members in the greater New Orleans area through our information and referral phone line, Email and website; community and parent training events; and our Mini Grant Program that provides grants to families and teachers for purchasing materials and equipment that help students with Autism in their classrooms and children and adults with Autism in their community. And because we are primarily an all-volunteer organization, 100% of the money raised through your participation and generous contributions will go towards providing these services and meeting our Mission.

How do I register?

So come join us for a day of fun, fundraising, and awareness raising of Autism Spectrum Disorder! Last but not least, we greatly appreciate all your support!

Waiver:  By registering for this event and in consideration of me and/or my minor child(ren) being permitted to participate in all Walk for Autism Awareness activities, I hereby for myself, my heirs and personal representatives, assume any and all risks which might be associated with the event. I further waive, release, discharge and covenant not to sue the Autism Society - Greater New Orleans Chapter (ASGNO), their officers, employees, sponsors, organizers, volunteers or other representatives or their successors and assigns, for any and all injuries or damages of any kind whatsoever suffered by myself and/or my minor child(ren) as a result of taking part in the Walk for Autism Awareness event and any related activities. I also authorize and release ASGNO to use any photo, film, or videotape taken of me or my minor child(ren) at the event for any purpose and by signing, authorize such use and acknowledge ASGNO’s ownership of same.
