TEC21 Workshop Program

TEC21 is a unique professional development strategy with a vision to: 1. Connect Lutheran educators at local, regional and national levels. 2. Assist teachers in gaining a new level of expertise. 3. Encourage and equip TEC21 participants to become peer resources in their schools.

Workshop Registration

Enrollment for the 2014/2015 school term opens February 1, 2014, for Lutheran elementary schools within approximately a 60-mile radius of established workshop centers and centers confirmed for launch in 2014/2015:

Frequently Asked Questions


Who is eligible to attend?
Elementary educators who are currently teaching in grades K-8. Space is limited! Maximum capacity for a workshop is 10 educators.

How much does it cost?
The cost of the workshops is $1000 for seven energetic, content-rich sessions.  

What does my teacher receive?
• Exposure to the most compelling technology tools available for the 21st-century classroom.
• Training, guidance and support, including critical materials and resources, and online learning and networking systems.
• Phone, email, text and video chat support as needed throughout the school year.         
• Life-long membership to the TEC21 peer learning community. 

Are there opportunities to offset the cost of this program?
Scholarships are available for first-time schools. Through the generosity and support of the Kansas Legacy Fund, the Lutheran Church Extension Fund and the TEC21 Angel Donors Fund, $500 scholarships will be awarded to new schools joining the TEC21 community. Additionally, many schools draw support from title money through their local Unified School District.
