Please join us at the annual Northeast Epidemiology Conference hosted by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Connecticut Department of Public Health. This conference is also supported by the Northeast Branch of the American Society for Microbiology and Conduent.

Louise M. Dembry, MD, MS, MBA, FACP, FSHEA

 

Dr. Dembry is Professor of Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology at Yale University.  She was the Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH) Associate Director and Director of Hospital Epidemiology from 1993-2015.  She is currently Director of Hospital Epidemiology for the VA CT Healthcare System. She has held multiple hospital leadership positions at both YNHH and the VA CT Healthcare System.  She was President of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) and Board Chairperson in 2016.  Her main interests include 1) the prevention and control of transmission of antibiotic resistant organisms in healthcare settings, 2) patient safety, 3) healthcare facility preparedness for high consequence infections and 4) training and education for hospital epidemiology and public health emergencies.

Cancellations                                                                                 

 Cancellation requests received in writing by email to patricia.kludt@state.ma.us by September 27th, 2017 will result in a full refund. No refunds will be issued after that date.

Registration Fees:

Full conference $200: includes Wednesday (reception), Thursday (breakfast, lunch, 2 breaks, reception), Friday (breakfast, break, lunch)

One day conference $125 (either day)

Wednesday evening dinner $45  

A late fee of $25 will apply after September 29, 2017 for the full or one day conference registration.
