The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 goes into effect this year and significantly changes the taxation landscape for entrepreneurs and their businesses. If you don't understand the impacts the law will have on your business and you personally, you are not alone! Our presenter will be Gary Garland Gary graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1986 and began his accounting career as a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Long Island. He moved to Florida in 1997 and worked as a private accountant, most of those years as Divisional Controller for Dole Ocean Cargo Express, a $130M division of Dole Food Co.
In 2004, he married my wife and became a father to two daughters, 35 and 31. Since then, he's graduated from UNF with a Masters Degree, become the father to twin sons who are now 10 years old, grown his own accounting practices, relied on established franchisors CFOToday and Liberty Tax, respectively. Since that time, the size of his practices has grown to two offices with two additional offices planned over the next few years. His passion is helping guide the small business owner and consumer to make the right decisions for their financial future.
