We invite you to join us to participate in a Passover Seder Meal. We will share traditional foods that would be eaten during Passover. Pastor Haara will share with us the symbolism of some of the ceremonial foods that were eaten and the tie into our Christian faith. We are asking people to bring a traditional food of their choice to share.
Passover commemorates God’s deliverance of the Hebrews from slavery to Egypt and his creation of the Israelite people. As Christians, we reflect upon Jesus sharing the Passover meal with his disciples; The Last supper, where the unleavened bread is used to represent Jesus' body, and wine represents his blood of the New Covenant (Luke 22:19-20).
