Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training

This four-day workshop will provide a foundational course in substance abuse prevention with a target audience being prevention provider staff, especially new hires, and professionals working in related fields. 

SAPST is grounded in current research and SAMHSA's Strategic Prevention Framework.  The curriculum is designed to provide participants with knowledge and skills to implement effective, data-driven prevention programs practices and policies that reduce behavioral disparities and improve wellness. 

Required prior to attending is the completion of an online component.  Upon registration, a link to the required online portion will be emailed to all registrants.  There will be no partial credit available for this training as per NYS OASAS; you must attend all four days.
