About Our Chapter
The Greater Omaha Chapter of AFCEA is a non-profit membership association dedicated to providing an ethical, interactive forum for sharing knowledge and building relationships across Government, military, industry, and academia.
Our Chapter, over 250 members strong, focuses primarily on enabling communications, electronics, and information systems missions of today and tomorrow through education and investment in talented people and support of future leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Each year, proceeds from our Chapter Sponsors and Chapter events help us to make awards to qualified students and teachers through scholarships and grants.
Our Keynote Speaker
Our speaker will be Dr. Sajda Qureshi, Director, Information Technology for Development, University of Nebraska at Omaha, Omaha NE. Dr. Qureshi will be discussing her research as it relates to advances in IT and how mobile health may help overcome the social determinants of health that lead to health inequities.
Dr. Qureshi is sharing this link for a mobile health application that was developed in her ITD Cloud Computing Lab through her National Research Initiative grant… https://www.mhealthhelp.com/.Tech Expo
