A collaborative symposium for civil legal service attorneys, prosecutors, law enforcement, advocates,
judges, law students, social workers, batterer intervention providers, and others in the field.
For the 2010 Domestic Violence Symposium, we are pleased and excited to offer an unique opportunity to hear and interact with internationally recognized experts who will focus on three general themes: Domestic Violence Assessment, Children Witnessing Domestic Violence, and Domestic Violence Research and Practice. Following two plenary sessions on Thursday, two sessions of workshops will be offered Thursday afternoon & three sessions on Friday morning. Registrants can choose among several workshops in each session which will reflect the symposium themes.

Includes: plenary sessions and workshops, materials, breakfast, lunch & coffee breaks.
Please indicate the workshops you would like to attend; classroom size will be assigned based on this. Workshop registrations will not be binding, but space available will be 1st come 1st served.
Payment is by cash or check only; the planning committee has determined that the cost of processing credit card payments is incompatible with our goal of affordable tuition.

The Seattle University Main Visitor Lot is at the corner of 12th & E. Marion. Participants may be re-directed to another school parking lot by the parking attendant, based on the capacity of the Main Visitor Lot. Full day parking is $15.00. Privately owned lots are located along both 12th Avenue and Broadway - costs range from $10.00-$15.00 per day.
