Home for the Holidays Candlelight Tours

Our  2021 Old-Fashioned Christmas comes to a close after Christmas with our Home for the Holidays tours.  These fully-guided tours feature the history of the house and the families who lived here and take place throughout three floors of the home.  All the elaborate decorations and twinkling trees are the perfect backdrop for exploring the history of the house and imaginging what it was like to live here, especially during the holiday season.

Given on two evenings, Dec. 28th and 30th, the tours run for 90 minutes under the guidance of our knowledgeable and friendly docents, dressed in their period attire. It's an enjoyable and quiet outing after the holiday hustle and bustle, perfect for entertaining out of town guests, or as a special treat with a friend.  This is geared toward adults and teens with an interest in history, not for younger children.  

Timed admissions are between 4:30-6:00 with limited size of no more than 8 per time slot  for comfort and safety.   Advanced ticket purchase only!  General admission $15 (not appropriate for children). Current members of Hearthside free (number of spots depending upon membership level).  Space filling quickly so make your plans now.
