Proceeds from this event support Alexandria’s Sexual Assault Program (SAP) and other women’s initiatives of the Friends of the Alexandria Commission for Women. The Sexual Assault Program provides services to victims of sexual assault and sexual harassment as well as to their family and significant other. Services are offered to anyone regardless of gender, age and native language. The funds raised through the Awards Celebration provide 24-hour hotline services, victim advocacy, counseling and support services as well as school education programs. By becoming one of our valued sponsors, you will help ensure this critical work will continue in our community.
