A Certification Training on the Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support

How can we work with families most effectively?

What does it mean to be a quality Family Strengthening and Support Program?

How can managers, direct service staff, and families work together to develop and sustain quality programs?

This full-day certification training on the Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support details how the 9 Principles of Family Support and the Strengthening Families Approach, with its evidence-informed 5 Protective Factors, can be applied together to enhance your work with families.

Whether you are setting up a new program or strengthening an existing one, the Standards provide a blueprint for implementing best practice.

Participants are highly encouraged to come as teams with Executive Directors, Managers, Coordinators, and Direct Service Staff, as each has a key role to play in implementing the Standards effectively.

This training is meant for anyone who wishes to enhance their program's effectiveness in providing strengths-based practice to families.  Additionally those programs who wish to pursue designation as a Family Resource Center of Quality by the NH Wellness and Primary Prevention Council - should have 80% of FRC-Q staff (based on FTE formula)    certified in these Standards of Quality.  See here for more information about the FRC-Q designation process.

Participants who complete the full session will receive a certificate from the National Network of Family Support and Strengthening Networks that is valid for two years.

Note: Each participant is asked to complete their own registration.  Registration fees are based on FSNH membership status - if you do not know if your agency is an FSNH Member, click here

Registration payment can be completed by credit card or check.  Regardless of payment method, it is expected that payment will be recevied BEFORE the training.

Continental breakfast, coffee, lunch, and materials are included.

Check-in and continental breakfast with coffee will begin at 8:30 AM.

The training will begin promptly at 9:00 AM, and doors will close at that time.  Please plan accordingly, as latecomers will not receive certificates.
