Nursing Informatics Boot Camp 

November 2 & 3 - 7:30am to 4:30pm

Prepare to get your hands dirty. This intensive two-day course focuses on current informatics trends and issues in health. This boot camp will provide robust content that will help nurses interested in becoming Certified Informatics Nurses.

Boot Camp topics include:

• System Design Life Cycle
• Data Management and Healthcare Technology
• Current Issues
• Case Studies

This program is approved for up to 14.5 continuing education hours for use in fulfilling the continuous education requirements of the Certified Professional in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CPHIMS) and the Certified Associate in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CAHIMS).

The Nursing Informatics Boot Camp follows the test content outline of the ANCC.  This course also goes beyond the ANCC outline to discuss trends and issues, and is taught by informatics professionals with recent healthcare informatics experience.
