The Shared Meal (April 30 - June 1, 2019) is a group exhibition curated by artist/educator Lora Marie Durr. The exhibition includes the work of 9 artists working in a variety of media to explore their personal relationship to food. As a preview to the exhibition, we invite you to enjoy a Shared Meal in the gallery surrounded by the work of these talented artists. The 4-course meal will be prepared by Chef Joe Mooney of Mistral in Princeton, NJ. Tickets for the meal will cost $100/person. Due to the confines of the space, no substitutions will be possible on the set menu. The exhibition hopes to encourage the viewer to examine their own relationship to food and open a dialogue about our culture’s consumption obsessions. All proceeds from the evening will benefit Artworks Trenton and the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) in support of their mission to “feed those who are hungry in the Trenton area and offer programs to encourage self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life of its patrons.”

1. Hamachi Crudo – Asian pear, kaffir lime, coconut, chili
2. Burrata – asparagus, country ham, walnut rye soil
3. Grilled Wagyu Short Rib – cedar aligot and au poive sauce
4. Chocolate Trifle Cake – zelia, hazelnut, blood orange
