This mini-series provides an introduction to Authentic Leadership--a powerful approach to personal and professional development that can increase one’s capacity for clarity, compassion and effective action in life and at work. 

Authentic Leadership group Drawing on the disciplines of Buddhism, complexity science, organizational learning and leadership, the mini-series will explore methods and practices to help participants cultivate self-awareness and creativity, strengthen and enhance their relationships with others and effectively lead the changes they want to see in their lives and in the world.  The program will include meditation practice, contemplative dialogue and practical application. 

Open to Naropa students, alumni, faculty and staff free of charge. RSVP is requested. 

 

About the Facilitator:

Susan Skjei headshot Susan Skjei, M.S, PCC, is an educator, executive coach and consultant specializing in leadership and transformative change. Formerly a Vice President of Learning and Development for a large technology company, she currently directs the Authentic Leadership program at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado and consults internationally through her company Sane Systems.  Susan is skilled at fostering inclusive and empowering learning experiences and is an Acharya (senior teacher) within the Shambhala tradition.  She will also offer an Authentic Leadership Workshop at Shambhala Mountain Center (co-sponsored by Naropa) on October 17-20, 2013 www.shambhalamountain.org.
