"Do You Know Who I Am?" Evening Reception 

Please join us for an evening with your local Naropa community and special guest, Naropa alum and executive director of Motus Theater, Kirsten Wilson, at an intimate reception prior to the showing of Kirsten Wilson's play, Do You Know Who I Am?

Hors d'oeuvres, wine and beverages will be provided.

If you are planning to attend the play, please purchase a ticket in advance ($10) or at the box office ($15).

Join us for the reception in the Sycamore Conference Room, located just off the Pavilion. If you wish to stay, the play will take place immediately following the reception at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center, which is directly accessible from the Pavilion.

About our Special Guest

Joining us for the reception is Do You Know Who I Am? creator and Naropa alumna, Kirsten Wilson.  Executive director of Motus Theater, she has been using original theater to reflect on issues of community concern since 1993. Wilson’s dynamic range of training includes an MFA in Contemporary Theater from Naropa University, an M.Div From Union Theological Seminary -with a focus on multicultural education strategies; and studies in visual arts at the Institute for American Indian Arts. Read more.

About the Play

Do You Know Who I Am? is an autobiographical performance scripted by Naropa alum Kirsten Wilson of Motus Theater based on monologues written and performed by undocumented leaders in our community, including: Juan Juarez, Victor Galvan, Oscar Juarez, Ana Cristina Temu and Hugo Juarez. With original music by Brian Mullins.

Panel discussion to follow performance with cast and Lenz guest Rev. angel Kyodo williams.
