Did you know that 25% of kids in Chicago lived in poverty last year?
Many families can’t afford basic school supplies that kids need to get ready for school. Join us this summer for a big school supply drive to help 200+ low-income and homeless youth served by our partners Embarc, Be-Alright, Chicago Hopes and I Grow Chicago.
Here are two ways to get involved:

Our friends at the TOMS store (1611 N Damen Ave.) are hosting the drive. New school supplies can be dropped off from July 18-31 anytime during store hours: Mon-Fri 9a-8p • Sat 9a-9p • Sun 9a-8p. Families who donate supplies receive 20% off their purchase of any TOMS bag. Join us in store on July 22 between 4-6 pm and you can decorate a Honeycomb pencil case to take home too!
The Honeycomb Project is a leading nonprofit organization with a focus on family volunteering. Our mission is to engage, mobilize and inspire kids and their families to strengthen Chicago’s communities through public service.
