12th Annual

Suicide Prevention Day

at the Capitol

Thursday, March 20

                                          WE NEED YOUR VOICES!!

Join us for this years 12th Annual Suicide Prevention and Awareness Day at the Capitol!

Attend the Community Action Training and Hike the Hill with other Survivors, Family and Friends bringing the voice of our communities to the ears of our legislators!

Creating political will is simple. All you have to do is voice your beliefs to people of inuence. Even if you aren’t a public speaker, you can change the minds of others. When you voice your beliefs with passion, you persuade. Legislators are people just like us, with lives and families and interests like yours. They are doing a job for us, representing us, and so they need to know what we think and how we feel. Only we can tell them how their actions in the legislature can make a difference in real people’s lives.

Won’t you share your story?

Come let your voice be heard!

The Event will begin at 9am March 20. We will meet in the South Rotunda.

All are welcome to join us earlier for a photo opportunity with the Governor at 8am, but it is not required.

This is a free event, but registration is required for a free lunch provided by SPAN Georgia.
