IFDA Social Networking: e-Communications, Newsletters - April 29, 2009

Presented by Linda Merrill, IFDA New England VP of Communications

E-Communications is the third of three seminars.

One of the most traditional forms of communicating with our clients has been the good
old newsletter. E-Newsletters have largely replaced the print newsletter, mainly due to
the cost savings. E-communications have been around long before the Social
Networking boom, but play an important role in maintaining ongoing communications
with past and current clients while laying the groundwork to bring on future clients. Pros
and cons will be discussed.

This seminar is available in two sessions: 10:30am-12:00pm OR 1:00pm-2:30pm. Please choose ONE.

More Information

Social Networking is the big “buzzword” in business. Are you doing it or does it feel
more like a “Social Disease”? Do you even know what it really means? In an industry
built largely on “word of mouth” marketing and referrals, relationships have always been
king. By using the new tools of technology, we can broaden the reach of our message
like never before.  Social Networking is about taking charge of your message and doing
it in a cost effective manner. Whether you embrace all the different elements of the
process or want to only learn what it all means, these seminars will break it down for
you.  You will come away with worksheets on how to set up your accounts and tips on
how to broaden your networks. Through case studies with some of the industry’s most
successful design firms, you will see how Social Networking can enhance your business
presence and open up opportunities like never before.
