5th-8th GRADE STUDENTS

We will gather with the 5th - 8th grade students for a “moonshot” challenge -- using technology to solve authentic world problems that we didn’t think were possible. Similar to programming self-driving cars, teams will program a self-driving robot to safely pick up the most number of passengers and necessary supplies. After the teams have an opportunity to share their results, we will break into design studios where they can hone their skills in stop-motion animation, engineering, art, or modern band.

MOONSHOT CHALLENGE: All students will have an opportunity to use technology to solve an authentic world problem. Teams of students will program a self-driving robot to safely pick up the most number of passengers and necessary supplies.

INNOVATION STUDIOSEach student will also participate in ONE of the following:

Art Studio: Find your inner artist ( ALL SPACES ARE FILLED)
Digital Animation Studio: Try your hand at animation and create your own slow motion movie
Tinkering Studio: Design circuits and wearable tech
Modern Band Studio: Rock out with drums, electric guitars and more

Childcare will be offered for children in K - 4th grades at no charge. Space is limited, so please RSVP.
