The Cartography and Geographic Information Society announces AutoCarto 2014, an international research symposium on cartography, geospatial science, and visualization. The eighteenth in the AutoCarto series, the symposium will be held in Pittsburgh, PA, on October 5-7, 2014. The venue is the Marriott City Center in the heart of Pittsburgh. This is the fortieth anniversary of the first AutoCarto conference, and it will be one of the best ever.
