Owning and operating a small business can be overwhelming and frustrating. How a business is managed and how it is able to compete within its designated market will determine whether it will survive, so some of the most helpful tools attendees will learn is how to break-down running your business into 3 parts. Join your fellow small business owners in this educational sessions sponsored By SCORE Delaware and DSBC.:
Operate - Your operations have to be solid you will learn strategies for business funding and operations;
Navigate – Discover how to take the time for planning and strategic thinking, as well as learn more about the Business Life
Communicate – Develop or refine your “Core Value” and learn ways to communicate it to others.
You will also learn about the small business life cycle, where you are in the cycle – and if it’s where you want to be. For example, is now the right time to expand your business, hire more staff, or invest in resources to help deal with a larger client base? These are just some of the important items about growth and development, pertaining to the business life cycle, which will be discussed.
By attending the confidential roundtable discussions, you will learn the 1-2-3 Rule: 1) Know your customer; 2) Know what they want; 3) Give it to them. This rule helps businesses understand who the most important ingredient in their business is.
