Warrior Dash for Our House 

Our House is organizing a group of volunteers to help with the 5k mud run Warrior Dash in Amity, AR. Not only will we be supporting an internationally recognized fundraiser and cause for St. Jude Children’s Research Center, we will also have the chance of raising some money for Our House!

There are 2 volunteer shifts available for the day of the Warrior Dash event:

1^st shift: 6:30 am- 1pm

2^nd shift: 12:30 pm- 7 pm

Volunteers for the event receive a free t-shirt, snacks, water, meals and parking pass for the event. Please e-mail our Volunteer Relations VISTA, Katelyn Bowen, if you or somebody you know would like to volunteer on behalf of Our House and the shift that you will be available (there’s also the option of volunteering for both shifts!). We only get the money if the volunteers actually show up for the event so please be sure to clear your schedule if you’re pledging your time. Thank you all for your attention and get ready to have some fun!!!!!

Description of the event and what to expect if you volunteer: Warrior Dash Arkansas. The Warrior Dash is a 5k mud run in which thousands of participants conquer 12 obstacles and then enjoy turkey legs, beer and live music in our festival area.  This year the Warrior Dash Arkansas on May 11th will be held at:

When we arrive they designate everyone to the area they will be working.  Some of these areas include: food tent, beer tent (must be 18 years of age), packet pick-up tent, helping on the course, working at the finish line handing out medals and the warrior wash  (using a big hose to spray participants).  They always try to keep groups or people from the same group together while working.  It's a lot of fun and a great environment full of live music and excited Warrior Dash participants.

At the event each individual will sign in so that we make sure all the participating volunteers are on site on race day.  All volunteers assisting at Warrior Dash must be over the age of sixteen (16) on the day of the event.

During their shift, Volunteers will devote their full attention and energy to Warrior Dash and will not engage in any other activity.  Warrior Dash is an extreme event and can be an intense work environment.  Volunteers will assist Red Frog Events staff with providing a safe and excellent event for all participants and spectators.

This is a rain or shine event.  By signing the agreement, Organization’s volunteers are expected to attend the Event. By volunteering, each person from Organization understands and acknowledges that Warrior Dash is an extreme event and accepts all risks associated with volunteering at the event.
