Jubilee Anniversary Mass and Reception
Bishop Leonard Blair will celebrate a special Mass commemorating 10, 25, 40, 50, 60, and 60+ years of marriage for couples in the Diocese of Toledo on October 14, 2012. This will be the first Jubilee Mass that celebrates 10th and 40th wedding anniversaries. The liturgy will be held at the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral. Mass will begin at 3:00 p.m. Priests of the diocese are invited to concelebrate the Mass with His Excellency. The bishop has also requested two assisting deacons for the liturgy. A reception hosted by the Toledo Diocese Council of Catholic Women will be held in the Cathedral school gymnasium after the Mass. The reception will feature booths providing information about The Office of Marriage and Family Life, the Couple to Couple League, Lighthouse Catholic Media, Theology of the Body Advocates, and other great organizations. Both the concelebrating priests and the assisting deacons are asked to bring an alb and a white stole. The assisting deacons will be provided with dalmatics for the liturgy. Please arrive at the Cathedral by 2:30.
