Strategic Partnerships in Community Development with the FDIC, Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, Federal Reserve, and US Treasury office

Join the FDIC, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, the Office of the Comptroller of Currency at the US Department of the Treasury, and the Community Development Network of Maryland to celebrate Community Development Week 2015 with an important workshop for community development practicioners.

This half-day knowledge-sharing forum will bring together bankers, community-based organizations, community development entities, developers and government agencies to discuss collaborative efforts in community and economic development. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from practioners focused on transit-oriented development; small business and economic development; and affordable housing; who will discuss ways in which strategic public-private-and non-profit partnerships can lead to community and economic development activities that can strengthen communities throughout Maryland.  The Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta will also be on-hand to talk about their grant opportunities.

Registration begins at 9am with the formal program starting at 10:00am.  Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
