Minister Chuasoto will report midpoint in the 2016 transition year following the presidential election: state of the Philippine economy, business performance and prospects.
Speaker Profile:
Mr. Patrick A. Chuasoto, a career diplomat, assumed as Charge d'Affaires, a.i., of the Embassy of the Philippines in Washington D.C. on 30 June 2016. Prior to his current posting in Washington D.C., Mr. Chuasoto served as a Special Assistant in the Office of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs from 2009 to 2014. He held several positions while assigned to the Permanent Mission to the Philippines to the United Nations in New York. In 2008, he was elected as Chairman of the Committee on Conferences. He was also the Rapporteur of the Fifth Committee (Administrative and Budget) for the 63rd Sssion of the United Nations General Assembly.
