ICCER Networking Event: Ethical Dilemmas in Continuing Care

Join us on October 15th for presentations by Shaniff Esmail and Gary Lepine. Shaniff (Professor, Associate Chair, Dept. of Occupational Therapy, University of Alberta) will be speaking about sexuality and sexual expression in continuing care, while Gary (Clinical Ethicist, AHS) will provide an ethical perspective on cannabis use in continuing care settings. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with our speakers, as well as collaborate with one another in small and large group discussion.

This Networking Event is suitable for all levels of staff, as well as family members! We encourage you to share the event information with family members you think would be interested in attending. Family members of ICCER member organizations* are considered ICCER members and can register for free!

We are excited to provide ICCER members (organizational and individual) with the opportunity to tour the Health Sciences Education & Research Commons Smart Condo. Members are invited to attend a tour of the Smart Condo before the Networking Event, beginning at 8:00 AM. (Members must indicate whether they plan to attend the tour when registering).

An opportunity to network over coffee and snacks included!
