Business Ownership through Franchising -- what's it all about? -- This Northwest Indiana SCORE workshop is designed for prospective business owners looking to start a business through franchising. 

Scott Majeski with FranNet will discuss the essential steps to franchise ownership:

• What are the benefits of owning a franchise?
• What are the risks?
• How to assess whether a franchise is a good opportunity
• How to gauge whether a franchise is right for me
• What are the keys to running a successful franchise
• Financing options
• Examples of opportunities in Northwest Indiana

This workshop will be held on April 25th at 9:00 am at the Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce.  There is no charge for this workshop and attendees will receive a copy of the slide presentation. There will be an optional and informal networking session starting at 10:00 am after the presentation concludes.  Here you can ask questions specific to your business and brainstorm ideas with other attendees.
