Mr.  Swiger is an environmental engineer for the Remediation Division in the Cadillac District Office of the Department of Environmental Quality.  He has worked on a variety of site assessment and remediation projects for a variety of sites that include both leaking underground storage tank and industrial waste sites.  He is currently the team leader for the Remediation Division’s non-aqueous phase liquid (NAPL) technical assistance and program support team.  He has a bachelor’s degree in geology and environmental geoscience and a master’s degree in environmental engineering.
