WTS Wisconsin 2019 Corporate Partnership 

In February 1989, a dedicated group of transportation professionals formed the Wisconsin Chapter of Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS). In 2019, we will be celebrating 30 years of promoting equity and access for women in transportation in Wisconsin! WTS is a recognized and well-respected transportation organization locally and nationally. We provide access to transportation leaders in Wisconsin, offer a variety of professional development and networking opportunities, and award thousands of dollars in scholarships to deserving women.

As we celebrate our past, present, and future in 2019, the Wisconsin Chapter endeavors to provide more access and opportunities to our members and friends in 2019. From awarding undergraduate scholarships, to mentoring young professionals, to providing continuing education for seasoned professionals – our goal is to advance women in the transportation industry.

Our goal for the corporate partnership program this year, in addition to funding our local scholarships, is to make programming more accessible to members, students and non-members. Corporate partnership funds help defray the cost of event registrations for participants, as well as allow us to reach out to students with special events, expand our STEM initiatives, including Transportation You — a hands-on, interactive, mentoring program that offers young girls ages 13-18 an introduction to a wide variety of transportation careers.
