2018 East Bay Stand Down 

2018 marks the 9th “East Bay Stand Down.” “Stand Down” is a term used during war to describe the practice of removing combat troops from the field and taking care of their basic needs in a safe area. The EBSD treats homeless and displaced Veterans who have served our country and now find themselves homeless in our community. We need your help! Please consider volunteering.

This year we are in particular need of general denitsts to do on site screenings and specialists (OMS, Perio, Endo, Prost.)  to perform treatment.  (You may volunteer for one or multiple days. Thurs, Fri , Saturday. )

• Dentists & assistants needed on Thursday & Friday to perform screenings, treatment and take x-rays.
• Specialists are needed on Friday & Saturday to provide on site treatments. (The military credentialing program has been waived in order to allow specialists to treat veterans on site)
  

We will not be taking veterans to private offices this year. We thank the many members who have taken in patients during previous Stand Downs. Your generosity was most appreciated.
