WWOLF - June 5th at Sakari Farms

Willing Workers On Local Farms (WWOLF) WWOLF is a community program of Central Oregon Locavore Non-Profit with the goal of lending a hand to small farmers while educating the community about the true nature of local food.

We have revamped our program to adhere to the recommendations set forth by the Oregon Health Authority, CDC, and Gov. Kate Brown. Rest assured, we are taking every precaution to keep you safe. We hope you join us!

How It Works You will meet the group at Sakari Farms just outside of Tumalo. After a round of introductions at the farm, we will split into groups and get to work. We will break for lunch around noon and then be done for the day.

What to Expect Good times, new friends, and a boots-on-the-ground education about local farming practices. . We love children and dogs, but please leave them at home for this event.

What to Bring: Snacks and water, work gloves, your favorite hand tool, face mask for times when 6-foot distancing isn't possible, closed-toe shoes, layers for the weather, and sunscreen. Tools and all materials needed to complete tasks will be provided by the farm. Soup and bread lunch will be provided, or bring your own! We will have a hand washing station and sanitizer for participant use.
