6th Annual Faces of Farming Gala, Silent Auction and Farm to Table Feast

We invite you to join us, Thursday, June 2nd, at The Tetherow Resort Event Pavilion for an evening of artful and delicious surprise, designed to honor the hardy and dedicated people who grow and raise our food in Central Oregon.

The event will feature a photographic narrative of our farmers and ranchers, a silent auction, dessert dash, cocktails, local wine and beer, and a farm to table sit-down dinner featuring the local bounty of our region.

Farming is a profession of partnership. We farm not only out of financial necessity, but out of a deep desire to serve and nourish our community. It is a vocation that preserves cooperative culture in place, remembering the collaborations of the past and carrying them forward into the future. In a time when we find ourselves increasingly divided and isolated, finding commonality and connection is more important than ever. Food is a shared necessity that bonds us all, regardless of our beliefs. The root of our rural community is in its agriculture. We believe farming introduces new friendships that render a collective investment in the well-being of humanity as a whole.

We believe in the power of the land and the people who cultivate it for our well-being. At Central Oregon Locavore, we know that the future of farming and local food will depend upon the support and encouragement that we provide to local farmers and ranchers. Faces of Farming serves to connect those passionate about our sustainability, cultivates strong relationships and celebrates the potential in all of us.

Ticket includes sit-down formal dinner, one drink, decadent dessert, and an evening of elegance designed to support our local farms and ranchers.

Attire: High Desert Formal

What is High Desert Formal? Let's just say is anything between cocktail attire and black tie. We don't get many options to dress up in Central Oregon, so if you are feeling fancy, go ahead and glam up for dinner! If the thought of dressing up makes you break out in hives, that's OK too. But do your best.

For gals: fancy pants, nice tops, skirts and boots will all pass. For guys, jeans and a nice sport coat will get you through the door. We are going to have a great time no matter what. We will be there with bells on ready to throw a great party!
