The focus of this comprehensive training will be on the practical application of the new monitoring protocol. We encourage you to register as a team which will allow for small group work and actual monitoring review prep work in each topic area.

Executive directors, Head Start and Early Head Start directors, fiscal staff, content area managers, administrative staff, human resources staff, and board members. 

Description:
The Office of Head Start (OHS) is once again making major changes in the Head Start/Early Head Start Monitoring Protocol. This session will address what's different from past years. We will explore the regulations being cited and discuss best practices in addressing the regulations.

We will take a deeper look into the requirements, specifically related to:

• Leadership
• Governance
• Management
• Fiscal
• Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA)
• And other areas as time permits

Learning Objectives:
1. Explore how the process and the new protocol are different from prior years.
2. Review how to use the protocol.
3. Review what the questions are specifically addressing.
4. Identify the regulations being cited in the protocol.
