2014 NCWBA Awards Luncheon, August 8
Enjoy beautiful views from the Boston College Club as we honor two member associations of the National Conference of Women's Bar Associations for their innovative programs. New Hampshire Women's Bar Association will receive the Public Service Award for Overcoming Cancer's Legal Challenges. Broward County Women Lawyers' Association will receive the Outstanding Member Program Award for Maze of Injustice--Issues and concerns Involving Native American Women and Children in the Courts.
Our luncheon keynote speaker is the Honorable Nancy Gertner (Ret.) Professor of Practice at Harvard Law School and former federal judge. Her book, In Defense of Women: Memoirs of an Unrepentant Advocate, was published in 2011. Judge Gertner will be honored with the ABA Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award at a luncheon on August 10 at Hynes Convention Center in Boston.
