Third Annual Grantmakers Panel

Meet the Grantmakers!

Building Strategic Funding Partnerships

Thursday, May 11, 2017
9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Please note earlier start time for this program!

TVNPA is excited to bring back one of our most popular programs where grantmakers have the opportunity to share insights and information with nonprofits learning the strategies behind seeking funding for their programs!

This popular annual event is not to be missed by nonprofit organization staff members, board directors, and volunteers seeking an in-depth understanding of grantmakers’ funding opportunities and grant development recommendations. All interested members of the community are encouraged to attend.

Panelists will shine a light on their giving criteria and organization requirements, along with providing information on how to form partnerships with grantmakers and apply for grants. Representatives from foundation and corporate grantmakers include:

  • Becky Hopkins, City of Pleasanton
  • Dan Quigley, East Bay Community Foundation
  • Nadine Horner, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
  • Wendy Gutshall, Safeway
  • Rebecca Nalder, Silicon Valley Community Foundation
  • Andrew Mahoney, Taproot Foundation
  • Amy Price, Zellerbach Family Foundation

In this panel discussion, speakers will share grant requirements and insights on nonprofit funding as well as address questions from attendees at the program. Moderated once again by Susan Houghton, President of Sunflower Hill and former TVNPA founding board member, take advantage of this unique opportunity to hear grantors tips and pointer about their grant processes.

We all know that grant-writing often involves multiple people in an organization, so be sure to bring your colleagues along with you for an informative discussion and enriching morning of networking and community-building.

Stay tuned for our June monthly meeting program which will follow-up on the Grantmaker's Panel discussion with a workshop on the specific techiniques of writing grants!

TVNPA’s 2016 Grantmakers Panel was a big hit with nonprofit organizations
(We think the grantmaker panelists loved meeting all our TVNPA community as well!)
