We believe...

Built on the core philosophy that "together we're better," the TVNPA has become an essential and valuable asset to the region's nonprofit sector. We believe that when organizations come together to share challenges and define best practices, the entire community is strengthened as a whole.

We look forward to serving your organization with our relevant programs, seminars, conferences and events.

Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance

2019 Membership Campaign

Welcome to the Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance Membership Program! TVNPA Members enjoy additional programs, reduced fees for festivals and events, as well as access to supportive community.

Nonprofit organizations, businesses, consultants and individuals within the nonprofit community are eligible to enroll as TVNPA members.

Memberships are valid for one year after date of enrollment and extend to all persons within the nonprofit organization or business.

As a member organization, you will open up opportunities for your staff, board of directors and volunteers to receive additional programs and services. Membership in the TVNPA strengthens your organization through relevant education, targeted resources and a supportive network of local nonprofits, businesses and members of the community.

When you become a member, you also enable TVNPA to provide education, networking opportunities and resources to nonprofit organizations throughout the Tri-Valley and the Bay Area beyond. Membership fees makes it possible for us to continue offering our Monthly Meetings free of charge to the community at large throughout the regional Bay Area, as well as to hold our innovative Community of Practice Program for members... and so much more!

Please note! There is no fee and membership is not required to attend TVNPA's regular monthly meetings, held on the second Thursday of each month. We encourage you to join or renew your membership to aid us in providing outreach and services to the entire nonprofit community!

Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance Member Benefits include:

  • Access to member-only grants and funding opportunities. For example, in 2018 TVNPA members were eligible to apply for Giving Tuesday Matching Grant awards through the Community Health & Education Fund (CHEF), resulting in thousands of dollars of matching funds for awarded organizations. (All content pertaining to grants and funding opportunities is provided as an information service only.)
  • Notification of local funding alerts and grant opportunities. (Please note that TVNPA does not endorse individual funders, but serves to make organizations aware of opportunities.)
  • Access to TVNPA Communities of Practice: connecting people who share a profession or field and hold a common interest in strengthening the nonprofit sector. Sessions generally meet on the last Friday of the month where TVNPA members can connect with other nonprofits in the area, generating a more in-depth knowledge of successful practices and a deeper understanding of how to achieve greater impact in one’s field.
  • Organization listing as a Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance Member at tvnpa.org (coming soon with our new website launch!)
  • Pre-printed name badges for meetings/mixers highlighting TVNPA M embership. Multiple badges are made available to additional staff members and volunteers affilated with the member organization.
  • Invitations and fee discounts (as applicable) to member mixers, nonprofit festivals, and other special events.
  • Member Organizations' Event Listings on TVNPA online calendar at www.tvnpa.org.
