Uncovering Your Real Sales Process

The feedback from members of LinkedMinnesota Sales subgroup include a strong interest in sharing “best practices” of professional salespeople. One way to facilitate that effort is to breakdown the 6 Core Competences of a Salesperson into 6 sessions with a presentation, discussion and exercise.

Our second session titled “Uncovering Your Real Sales Process” is about learning a sales process with effective techniques that will define a sales process that is repeatable, predictable and adjustable. Most sales processes include Introduction, Gain Favorable Attention, Discover Wants & Needs, Present Benefits & Consequences, Gain Commitment, and Follow-Up.  In this session we will discuss the most common techniques, within the process, that will give us the greatest return, in the shortest time, with the highest conversion.  I’ve asked Steve Callender of Effective Learning for Growth (http://www.effectivelearningforgrowth.com) to help me facilitate this topic. He has graciously accepted and will be demonstrating an exercise to help you focus on defining your best process.
