Sun City Summerlin Community Assn., Inc. COVID-19 Testing Reservation

Dear Sun City Summerlin Owner and Residents, We have secured an opportunity to have COVID-19 testing done at Mountain Shadows Community Center for our Owners, residents, and staff only.  

In order to limit the testing to our Owners, residents and staff we have to show that we have enough people registered to fill two days of testing.   In order to do that we are taking pre-reservations.  If you want to pre-register you need to follow the direction in this email – DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL, YOU HAVE TO REGISTER YOURSELF FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS. 

Here is some information that may help you decide if you want to be registered.

1. The testing will be done by Clark County. 

2. There will be no charge for the testing.

3. The test is a nasal swab.

4. The test does not detect if you have had COVID-19, it will tell you whether or not at the time of the test you have the COVID-19 virus. 

5. Testing Dates have tentatively been set for July 14 and 15th 

6. Testing will be limited to Owners, residents, and staff of Sun City Summerlin

7. You will be REQUIRED to show your Activity Card 

8. You must pre-register for the event, and once we know we have enough people you will receive a date and time. 

9. You must attend on the date and time you are issued, by pre-registering you are in the queue to receive a date and time. 

10. The event will be held indoors. 

11. The reservations will be for a block of time and you may have a wait time of up to an hour. 

12. During your block of time you will be indoors, safely distanced from others.
