Disaster Team Training -- Sept 6, 2014

Disaster volunteer training will be hosted Saturday, September 6, at The Salvation Army's Central Arkansas Area Command, 1111 West Markham in Little Rock. Volunteers may register for either or both sessions. Lunch is provided.

The schedule is as follows:

8:00-8:30AM -- Sign In

8:30AM-12:30PM -- Introduction to The Salvation Army Disaster Services

12:30-1:00PM -- Lunch

1:00-3:00PM -- Safe From Harm

The introductory course is REQUIRED for disaster workers; however, it also covers information that is helpful to all that support The Salvation Army and especially those new to The Army.

Safe From Harm is also REQUIRED for disaster workers. It is designed to assist in our efforts to protect children and vulnerable adults from abuse.
