All small businesses are welcome but content will be most relevant to those in business at least 3 years.

Reducing costs is a very effective way of improving your cash flow, better than higher sales or increasing your price.  Drawing from the discipline of Lean and Six Sigma, there are a number of simple cost-reduction methods which are appropriate for small businesses.

You will learn:

  • Why cost reductions can increase profits more than raising prices or increasing sales.
  • 5 Useful Concepts and Principles
  • 5 or more Simple Tools for reducing cost, while maintaining quality and employee morale.

 

Our Speakers:

John Harmon, John is Managing Director of Adulant Consulting Services, which advises small and medium size businesses on strategies for growth and operating excellence. He is also a SCORE Counselor.

Thomas F. McCabe, Tom is a Managing Director of W.W. Mentorprises, Inc., (WWM), headquartered in Darien, CT.  Prior to joing WWM, he was engaged as a consulting manager with a Big 4 Consulting firm within its e-Infrastructure Practice.  He is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.  He has a wide range of consulting experience covering multiple aspects of operational excellence and is a SCORE Counselor.

Andy Jawlik, Andy is a Managing Director of Jawlik and Associates, LLC which provides consulting and training in process and quality improvement.  He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and he draws on experience from IBM as a process executive.  He is currently writing a book, The Most Confusing Statistical Concepts in Lean Six Sigma.  He is also a SCORE Business Counselor.
