How to sell (almost) anything to anybody and feel good about yourself

A free SCORE Small Business Workshop co-sponsored by SHU iHub Powered by Verizon

Business success is all about selling your products, services, and yourself. Do it well, and you will prosper. Do it poorly, and you will eventually fail. Many entrepreneurs, business owners and self-employed professionals don't like to think of themselves as "pushy salespeople,” but by mastering a simple three-step process, anyone can learn to sell just about anything to just about anybody.  Here’s how.

You will learn:

  • the two reasons (there are only two) why anyone buys anything;
  • how to get a sales prospect to like (and, more importantly, remember) you;
  • the three steps to successful selling;
  • how to get the most out of networking meetings;
  • what should (and should not) be on your business cards and website;
  • what really works in an “elevator pitch”; and
  • how to use these techniques when looking for a job.
