Grant Success for Scientists: How to Increase Your Odds to Get Your Ideas Funded

Dr James J. O’Brien

Robert O. Lawton Distinguished Professor

Meteorology and Oceanography

Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL

This seminar is only for beginners-assistant professors, postdocs and advanced PhD students. Dr. O’Brien has been fortunate to be very well funded for his research in Oceanography and Meteorology at Florida State University by NSF, ONR, NASA, NOAA, USDA, ETC. (NOT NIH.) Almost $100 M! It was not luck even though he is Irish. It is hard work. But there are techniques that increase the probability that your great idea will be chosen to be funded.   Attend this seminar to learn more about Dr. O’Brien’s recommendations.

Registration is limited to 90 attendees.
