YOU MUST ATTEND ALL TWO HOURS OF TRAINING TO RECEIVE ANY CEU's

This training is essential for professionals who work with people that have a gambling disorder.

Counselors come from many different disciplines and backgrounds. They are considered competent to practice if they meet certain criteria according to the rules that govern licensure for treatment programs. THE outcomes of their approach to providing treatment will be much better if everyone understands how our perception, could affect what we do, how we do it, how it all fits together.

We’ll discuss how our perception, could result, in some “Gray Areas of Ethics” (If there are any) that can affect outcomes.

We’ll discuss how various disciplines approach ethical decision making as well as how they talk to their clients.

Since we don’t have any ONE universal Code of Ethics that we practice, how could that affect client retention?

We will practice some ethical decision making and resolve some conflict in our thinking/actions based on our perceptions.

OBJECTIVES

The attendees will be able to:

-Identify some “Gray Areas” in ethics (If there are any)

-Identify high risk “Perception” issues in approach to your practice

-Identify how Ethical decision could affect client retention
