Join us! This year's conference will be better than ever with two keynote speakers, Lori De Milto, M.J. and Stephen W. Gutkin, six roundtables on timely topics for all medical communicators, and ample networking opportunities. There will also be a special afternoon workshop* led by Ms. De Milto.

If you specialize in scientific publications or want to learn more, don't miss Mr. Gutkin's presentation on the strengths and limitations of clinical study design and how medical writers can ensure fair balance in medical communications. Learn how to "Prove It, Improve It, and Enhance It" from this subject matter expert.

If you're an introvert, like many writers, you won't want to miss Ms. De Milto's keynote: Networking for Introverts: How to Get More Results with Less Stress. Who you know is as important as what you know, and she'll explain how to build your network effectively with less stress.

In her afternoon workshop, How to Stand Out in a Sea of Freelancers with Your Brand, Ms. De Milto will teach participants the key ingredients in a freelancer's brand and help them develop their brands to stand out from the competition.

Registration Information

• February 22, 2019: Deadline for conference cancellation with full refund
• March 1, 2019: Deadline for conference cancellation with 50% refund
  
• March 5, 2019: Online registration ends*

The registration fee for the main conference (running from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM) is $100 for all participants. It includes breakfast, keynote speaker, roundtables, buffet lunch, beverages, and snacks. The fee for the main conference and afternoon workshop (8:00 AM to 3:30 PM) is $130. The fee to attend the workshop only (1:30 PM to 3:30 PM) is $75.

Online payments are managed through PayPal. An automatic email will be sent to confirm registration and provide a receipt. (Please check your SPAM folder if you do not see a confirmation within a few minutes.)

Please select a roundtable when registering. Reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Conference cancellation requests must be received in writing no less than 1 week prior to the scheduled event. Refunds, minus a non-transferrable $25 registration cancellation fee, will be distributed only to individuals who cancel in writing 1 week or more before the scheduled event. No refunds or credits will be given for failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events, or early departure.

Accommodations

The 4-H Conference Center has a limited number of rooms available for those needing an overnight stay.
