More About Sonny West ~

Sonny West was Chief of Security for Elvis Presley, and a member of the King's 'Memphis Mafia'.  But through the years, Sonny became one of Elvis Presley's closest friends and confidants.  Since that time, Sonny has made it his life's work to promote the positive image of Elvis through books he has authored, and speaking tours internationally.  Unfortunately, earlier this summer, Sonny faced severe medical challenges beginning with a fall which ruptured his spleen, and lead to the discovery of more serious medical conditions.  He was hospitalized in June and discharged August 7, although he has not fully recovered. The medical bills and loss of income have devastated Sonny's family financially.  This purpose of this event is to raise funds on Sonny's behalf.
